Your build isn't final. Respecs are a lot easier and cheaper here than in other games. Try whatever you want. Each weapon will pair off a stat, see what weapon you like and boost that stat. You can even max all weapons if you want.
The game is very solo friendly, or it was - not sure how Aeternum changed that.
Having said that, late game is all about group content (they ruined end game crafting and gated gear behind PvP/E only), so soloing will not really be a thing if you want to progress.
Crafting is pretty fun too, but is currently pointless for end game. It is very good until end game though.
I loved the crafting, gathering, and the open world in general. I was surprised when I reached 65 and realized all of my time spent crafting was no longer useful outside of furnishing. (and even that was limited)
I did not experience a lot of value for a solo player at end game for this title. (largely due to the neglect for crafting after level 55 or so)
Join a faction when you are able to, do missions for them, and you will be able to buy gear from them. It is not the best of the best, but it does the job adequately, and you can rely on it until level 40 or so (after that it becomes too expensive gold-wise). By then, you will have learned what's what and can make your own gear decisions.
Do not worry about allocating points. Until level 60, stats points can be respecced for free as many times as you want. After that it costs a small sum of gold (about 1/3 of what a quick quest gives, it's no issue). Weapon training can be respecced for free until it reaches level 10 (out of 20). After that it has cost, but again negligible.
There are instanced dungeons that require a party. Other than that, you can play solo. Even if some of the challenges might be too difficult for a solo player, as long as they are in the open world, you will often find other players there and you can help each other even without specifically grouping for it. And you *can* get endgame gear, even mostly playing solo.
Gathering and crafting is very relaxing, i suggest you pick it up and alternate questing with it. Endgame use may be limited, but by the time you get there, it might have been overhauled three times over. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
And last advice: do not be in a hurry. Relax, take your time, the game has no sub so no pressure.
I farm them. In the back there are land marks with water around them. If you get into trouble jump in the water. I had one guy follow me and I got out and mounted before he was able to. Dust in the wind. If ya cant kill em run away lol.
also not true.
You can totally farm coins thru CK dailies, CK tours, and a weekly key and not do pvp at all. A quick run to get a gold cursed coconut once a week can help get you 725 gear. Also opening chests at the fountain in CK can net you higher level gear (for PvP and PvE).
Agreed. The good news is that it is easy to fix. Having said that, I doubt Amazon will. They really like pushing players into activities that they don't want to do. Instead of giving us more choices, they just take things away.
