UNPLAYABLE - CRASHES

The game is unplayable for 2 of my friends. Both with good computers, above the requirements. Updated drivers, reinstalled a few times. Followed tens of instructions from people troubleshooting the crashes.

Amazon is not helpful with their bullsh*t list of FIX IT THIS WAY.

Glad we paid to play the game and it's unplayable.

Anyone else struggling this way? We lost many squad members this way, just not being able to play.

I dont get it, its just random when i get to play, or when it just crashes while trying to load up my surroundings. I thought maybe it has to do with world population, but there are days when low crashes, and day when med loads up just fine. My internet loads up fallout 76, darktide, and ESO just fine so i dont get it

i notice this when leaving dungeons, new world doesnt respond anymore for a very short period of time, when i click in this moment i see the window coming up and i always click wait for answer and it goes on, if u click to much or tab out while loadscreen is up it can crash yes, so everytime i have a load screen i touch nothing and it goes on
but still there is this very little timeframe of no response in every loadscreen

the computers say nothing is wrong with this game, runs OK, CPU and any memory says it's fine, temp too.

DirectX issues were my guess, reinstalled anything related to it.

After the new patch from 2 days ago, 1 friend could play, he played for 3 hours then crashed, NEVER to be allowed back in the game.

So what? Files get corrupted during playtime? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crap.

Ive had this many times as well as after this current patch. What worked for me on PC is >Go into your Local Appdata folder and delete AGS Files. This will only reset your settings in the Options Menu. >Verify Files in Steam. >Restart Pc. >Load New World >Log In Screen >Adjust all your settings Including the Video to Medium and turn off image scaling. Then Load in see if that works. I think for some reason the AGS Options files get corrupted or something. Im no expert but this worked for me after crashing multiple times within 5 mins into game.

Had almost no crashes on the previous patch. On this one, randomly from 10 to 30 minutes and boom.... ridiculous. Those lists aren't fixes for anything. They are mostly basic support first steps for any computer ever for any problem ever to exclude basic maintenance. The game has issues. Basic computer maintenace has nothing to do with it.

It doesn't respond anymore and I have to close it.

Think somewhere along the line that the graphics are not working or helping the processor?

I know you mentioned the drivers were updated....was the Bios updated or checked for updates? Just a thought...I was crashing quite a bit and found my bios had a recent update and it fix my crashing issues.

Literally same. Every time I am teleported anywhere at all, I have to completely restart the game, sometimes verify files, restart steam, etc. before it works again. Last patch, game was playable, this time around, I have tried every single day, and not been able to play because of "bandwidth issues" but every other game works fine for me with perfect connection. :( It is 100% on NW's end.

ive done everything even reinstalled windows with only new world installed. it will either kick me every 5 minutes or i get to play for hours.
