Of course it has triggerd me because I still had some hope that the game might get better because AGS has infinite resources. Not everything was bad in NW. Sometimes I come and check what they are doing. You don´t? Look at where they're taking the game. It's just get worse and now skins like that. I can't understand that. However, this will be the final drop of water and it will cause the barrel to overflow. Let them all hit the wall with their woke madness stuff and cutie's items. Better sooner than later. The sooner they'll learn.
I care and you know why I do? Because I invested my money and time in NW. You are a part of the problem if you have another opinion and that´s why publisher like AGS just milk the playerbase and bring those ♥♥♥♥ into the games that destroy them completly. Yep. ESO is another great example and shows that they doesn´t need to jump on the woke-cutie-childish trend to stay alive. That´s why I respect ESO aswell.

I don't see it that way. It was never about making fun in games. It just was about making extra money out of skins. It was always about the money and has nothing to do with evolving. If you choose a lore and an MMORPG why do you want to have all the cringe? What's fun about that? It's completely crazy. It'll be a complete clown world a few months after release. I mean, if you're into that kind of kiddie stuff why do you pick a game like New World and then turn it into a kindergarten? You can directly play complete kids' cartoon games instead. The sad thing is that at some point even you get fed up with it because you don't like that clown world anymore and you quit aswell. And yep, I leave all this games like the most do. That´s why almost all MMORPG´s are going to die after a while, or directly. If Lost Ark turned after weeks into this kindergarten alot of players left. In Tera it was the same and of course it wasn´t always alone the lack of content.
That's just your OPINION games are meant to be fun. If you want serious games you play strategy or warfare type games.
WoW had all kinds of stuff like the Murlock suit that was worth a fortune. Did it fit the theme yes but it was a freaking pajama type suit so it was childish. But it was still cool and those who couldn't get it from Blizzcon would pay YUGE cash for it. They had all sorts of strange things and the lore was ever evolving. My hunter had a frakin unicorn pet which was never part of the actual lore. They even gave a pet for Chinese new year once which had nothing to do with the game. Somehow we coped and we didn't cry that our lore was forever ruined when they added fun stuff to collect or a tribute to a real life celebrity on a tombstone.
I don't play games to be all serious and cry for days on end if I die or the game shoots rainbow glitter at me. Again MMO's aren't meant to be all that serious. You just seem to have picked the wrong genre and seem to expect it to only cater to your wants. Go play FFXIV and tell me how much of that game really makes sense. So if they need to sell a hippo mount to keep the game afloat you should feel lucky someone is buying it. They could have instead just put a mandatory monthly subscription fee for everyone one day one. At the end of the day this is a business and when that business starts bleeding too much cash the game will shut down forever.
