Im one of the undeads
I logged on, then logged out again today. Im on the verge of quitting after doing mostly pvp yesterday.
Don't get me wrong, i have had a good time with the restart, but i am not that into mostly doing PvP, and now when the exploration and quest phase is over, that's what i am left with.
I'm not bad at PvP, but 3vs3 isn't that fun with the loop sided matchmaker.
Outpost Rush is just chaos, and i am bored inside 45 min every time.
So yeah.
Already started window shopping for something else.
But it was fun while it lasted.
I think im done with MMO RPG games tbh.
Edit : I quoted an undead it seems, but ill let it stand, because i think he was right.:)
Well, i always try to get games to work, and i have found myself trying to find ways for me to work inside the game. To feel like i have purpose.
I'm having difficulty with it.
I could go heavy crafter and build different pvp build's and try it out in PvP, but that's about the best idea so far.
But the thought of all that work for so little is kinda... well..
I think you are right about logging on because its a habit. And people get addicted to MMO RPG's for sure. I'm just at a stage where i wonder why i do it :)
And right now i am more or less thinking i'm done.
I just bought "The last of us Part 1" on sale a couple days ago.
I actually watched a streamer play through the whole game once on you tube, and i thought the game was fantastic, so i promised myself i would buy it when it got ported to PC.
Offcourse, im also a cheapskate that has too many games already so i have waited for sale, and i finally got it 40% off.
I'm thinking i will go full time on that game for a while now
just forget about to sell high level stuff that macrobot societies had decided to tank the prices down to insanity.
the market for freshstart is much less insane though a lot of thingies cant be bought as most people just care to catch up toon to the level of their mains on legacy or farm doubloons around pvp island.
but you are wrong about Rip for game but some macrobotabuser very likely seriously trying to kill the legacy market sell prices for real players since many months ago.
ags should consider tracking sources from multisellers so abusers could be tracked and may get reported if more details from the seller are visable like in other games since years.
i remember years ago in games like everquest 2 sellernames from certain guilds or unguilded maxes toons made it much easier to avoid trading from shady sources with duped crap.
the existing market system needs to get purged before a cross market for all remaining legacy servers may save the economy for all the none realmoneytraders.
That's not a sign of dead trading, that's completely natural.
To smelt 1 Orichalcum ore, you need 48 Iron ore. But you can not harvest Iron 48 times faster than Orichalcum. That creates an oversupply of Orichalcum, which pushes it's value down.
Add to that everything is so freaking expensive to upgrade and I just really and getting to the point where I might have to call it. I like the game, but with all the bug, performance issues, and now this it might be time to just go somewhere else.
I have to admit that this patch destroyed all old content since the only activity that makes sense to do is hive once in the week.
Sad but I think the game will start to diminish this week, 29K roughly on at present was about 50k week before.
Did we expect it to go differently, well not really.
Nice to have another spin around Aeternum and think what the game could have been, until AGS sought there leadership out nothing will change.
