Legendary Faction Armor worth it?

Returning player and loving the changes.
Still trying to sort out how the new gear systems works. I maxed out my faction (Marauder) and playing heavy armor tank with SS and GS. Curious if the legendary armor and weapons I can now purchase thru the faction is worth it (or a waste of faction points)?

faction points cant be wasted because they have a cap and you need to do thousands of faction quests for achievement and armor is expensive but the skins are decent for transmog.

waste of gold. if you're leveling just buy the 490 gs at 49 then just buy gear off tp. at 65 look for 690-699 gs off tp for cheaper with 1 or 2 good pvp perks until you get an endgame build going.

If the gold cost was more reasonable, I would say it'd be worth it to have until you can get better via chest runs and such.

With current gold costs, no. Complete waste considering you can buy much better gear via trading post for much lower gold cost.

its worth it once to unlock the cosmetics (for the armor at least), however if you already have the cosmetics then not really.

Usable for a new player to buy for cheap while living up only.

Not the legendary It way to much gold.

But they do have decent stats and easy tweaked

I used two sets the 2nd and lvl 49 or smth.

You can farm named enemies for purples or legendaries. You can literally get one every few minutes when they respawn, and it's free and easy.
Maybe if you needed to control your gear stats but it's hard to see why until you are max level. And at that point, the faction gear is generally obsolete.

all the gear i am seeing at 65 is absolute random garbage that looks like it came out a loot chest rather than purposely crafted lol

So that is something I'm trying to figure out with the latest version of the game --- how do you level/improve gear now? Most vids I'm finding are the old version of the game.
