Game Crashing after update

Has anyone else had the game crash on them after the update?? I can play for a little bit then it will freeze then go black

I can't load into the game without it crashing. Ive verified game files and "repaired" anticheat. Still nothing.

Dang! I dunno what the deal is...I could play last night, but now dunno...Have you tried totally reinstalling even though its a pain?

Reinstalled and still having the same issue. The loading progress bar gets about 30% of the way and then my mouse cursor pops up (spinning) and stays there forever. If I press any key then I get the whole "this program is not responding" message.

I can get in but always crash once in for awhile, redownloaded the updated amd driver and still doing it..

For real, i seem to have solved it thus far on my end for the time being I downgraded the driver to the amd adrenaline 24.7.1 , and its been working... weird that the 24.10.1 was doing that to me it was working until tonight

I was was having the same issue and i reinstalled my graphics driver and that worked for me. Hope it works for you.

Not a solution, but I was having this issue on AMD 6700xt and opened on my other comp which was nvidia 3060 and no issues at all. still wont work after updating drivers, reinstalling and restarting. Might be an AMD issue

might be worth also to try to check that the new steam feature of recording is not active, (normally would be defaulted as disabled)

that was available since yesterday that has overloaded my bandwide instantly after i have tried to use it but was freezed once within the settings , very early to reapply unsaved setting as first daily action since release.

need to set it to manually recording and changed default key because control+ f11 openened another menu even with trying pressing control with it.

i had also tried to clear my steam cache before the first time after reading the forum threads and update notes.

this game needs a lot of individual attention to enable it running smoothly for hours.
but was able to play the freshstart toon almost undisturbed after i have done all 3 daily soultrials on legacy.

i hope after the halloween event has ended ags can focus more to fix leftover issues before the weekend.

i mostly only experienced random crashes mainly because i stil overrule gforce experience optimized settings ,as i dont care for maxed fps as others, while not using the competative game modes as soloaddict and am used of more frequent crashes as anybody else ,so i cant complain as much as others because of my a little bit outdated graphic card using too much setting on high because i am crazy.

i hope rechecking nvidea driver settings might provide temporary selfhelp as others already suggested.

88h played no issues but since update im getting ''D3D device removed'' every 15 mins or less, i am using Dx12, i havent gone back to Dx11 yet but this is 100% since the update

Same problem i have a rx 7600 the only fix i got for now is changing the new world launching option in steam to dx12 version it wont crash but my game performance is way worse then it wase before patch i can twll you that
