If you insist on saving everything, start getting your rep up with all the towns, you can get more storage space that way, and get chests for your homes.
What do you even want to craft? A bunch of gear with bad RNG combos?
Just go farm some named mob for purples and legendaries every few minutes when it respawns.
I even got a legendary from a normal unnamed boar in Cutlass Keys non-elite area.

One piece of advice: whenever you gather something, do it for a purpose. Don't fill up all your storage with gold ore just because you happened to run into gold veins. That way you will have no storage left, and no way to get rid of (process) the gold ore because you have no silver/room for it.
Plan ahead. If you have some gold ore, look up what you need to process it. Then gather THAT, process the gold ore, then use it for crafting/skilling up (and consume it in the process, freeing up storage). Don't just hoard, or you WILL run out of space.

There's a hard limit of how much u can sell at one time.
My scream is for a change, they really need to make ♥♥♥♥ easier and with more logic.
There's is no silver in gold ffs.
But in general, I understand what they were going for by requiring lower tier materials to make higher tier refined materials. They wanted to make sure that steel ingots cost more than iron ingots, and starmetal ingots cost more than steel ingots. By requiring the lower tier to make the next tier, it keeps the value of higher tier materials. It also allows lower level players to make a little coin by farming the low level materials for higher level players who don't want to farm it themselves.
This isn't a perfect solution. I high level areas all the hunted animals drop iron hides, so it's easy to get as many as you need. And crafters only need it for the highest level gear. And to craft a single piece of tier 5 leather, you probably need dozens of tier 1 rawhide. So it makes high tier raw materials almost useless, even if the high tier refined materials are expensive. So it's not a perfect solution, but it does work.
But yes, in the real world, there is no silver in gold. Just pretend they're doing alchemy in the smelter.
My 3 houses hold something like 6k weight each. Highest is at 6.5k
You do know that increasing territory standing gives you extra storage?
Drop rates are fine.
Play song = extra mats
Use potion = extra mats
Full gathering gear =extra mats
That was they're plan to keep rarer mats more valuable but it resulted in botting, and I think i see it again in the AH.
I think iron wood on our server is 2 Gold.
