It's almost Christmas... For the 2025 roadmap, AGS is asking you to help them prepare it by choosing 2 (or even 3) proposals from the list below...
- The choice of the new weapon
- Alleged treasure hunts using the entire map.
- Having a space on the map to build and furnish your own house (e.g. extremely rare treasure hunt winnings)
- A new PVP instance
- underwater hunting
- A new profession: archaeologist (there are so many ruins to study)
- Quests to find a family member so you're never alone again. (could evolve over time)
- Raising a pet
- Quests for each company to build and furnish their own town hall (may evolve over time).
- Alleged events to surprise the player on the move. (e.g. spider attacks that emerge from the ground at night).
- Give each faction a space to build its own base. (e.g. a harbor*) Its construction would evolve in stages, using a project table. Its architecture would be specific to each faction. The choice of quests would modify its architecture. All this can evolve over the seasons.
*This would make for some exciting prospects!
- For players who want to take a break... offer tables for different games (chess, checkers, etc.) in inns.
- get rid of all the bugs that make gamers' lives miserable. (We can dream...)
- ... your propositions...
AGS could also propose an emote video contest for players. The best ones would be
rewarded with a place in the game!

Merry Christmas!

If I had to choose ...

> New weapon pistol (either dual wielding them like Grace or as an offhand weapon)

> Having a space for myself on the map to build and furnish my home/outpost would be awesome, I love sandbox features and it would make a good endgame activity for solo players or even guilds depending on how it would be implemented.

> Bug fixes and even more bug fixes. Did I mention bug fixes?

And as special suprise:

> Pretty please an overhaul of the chat system. Now that we're finally free of the level-up messages in /area, we get spammed by the bloody emote texts. Also the range of /area is way too big to be of any use.

> Add a barber shop and give us the option to have real walk mode (like you did for mounts)

Of course! What interests me in this post is the direction this game should take to rekindle the interest of players still (or not) on this game. ;)

I have too many hours in the game already but, and I know this is blasphemy, the game just might be done. Am almost 65 and there's still quite a bit to do for a solo player like myself but as I hit 200 in all my gathering skills, slowly drag the armoring, blah blah all crafts up there too, the game just seems kind of finished. Have several more zones to crawl through, the main story to finish rather a bit late in leveling but not interested in raids, done that. PvP is a mess.

And speaking of roadmaps. The devs actually stated they were going to give us a roadmap with this patch drop and so far it is MIA. That has to be a clue. I applaud your continued enthusiasm but you might also want to be looking at what else is out there... ymmv

To answer your question, housing, real housing but that's unlikely. Archeologist would be cool but not sure what its use would be though actually using that profession to make crafting all the way to 725. This game lacks options for a lot of the current MMO players that like to see lively areas but don't necessarily want to team up. Don't laugh. Lots of us don't want to deal with toxic randos of 2024.

Ashes of Creation goes to beta in May. They need to make it look good until then.

Fix the damn UI for Ultrawides and High Res monitors

Fix the damn GS exploits

Fix the damn Bow, Hatchet Exploits

Fix the tradeskills via a COMPLETE overhaul. Requiring 6 MILLION iron Bars to max tradeskills is a f)#*$ing joke and BEYOND tedious.

Remove Mutated Dungeons, they're 100% worthless. 650 gear rewards.. mygodsoexciting.. cept I get 700 GS stuff outta stupid "World Tour" runs.. and more of them... with literally zero actual effort. You can keep your super hard dungeons..

Remove Gypsum Orbs, They're 100% Worthless

Add a true PVE source for 725 gear. No, PVP gear from Cutlass Keys is NOT PVE gear.

In Short... ADD A COHERENT AND FUNCTIONAL ENDGAME.

Nobody gives a flying )#*$ about houses and piers and chessboards when they cant compete with endless cheaters and have nothing to do!!! I havent booted this damn game in over a week now because there's NOTHING for me to do.

Just because you don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about those features doesn't mean other people don't do.

I couldn't care less about PvP, raids or dungeons ... does that mean AGS shouldn't expand on them? No, of course not. Different people have different tastes.

Will the AoC beta be open to all or is it invitation only (or for pre-orders only)?

Archaeology could indeed be a great profession. It wouldn't be a craft profession, but it would sometimes involve creating an object or artifact by exploiting several existing craft professions. Discoveries in the field, solved quests, the creation of certain items and the improvement of these to help us in our research would allow us to progress in the game and gradually climb to lvl 725 over not one but several seasons... ;)

Yes, exactly. Archeology would allow you to dig up (or whatever it is one decides on) as an adjunct to the gating by trials, current "team" end game content. Yup, should take a good long while and maybe even have their own skins. Of course the joke would be that everyone would want to get involved because in fact, end game in NW is bupkis. But that's not a bad thing. Just no stupid ass chest runs that in and of themselves give the product. It could be cool or it could just end up being another version of chest runs but they should not be sellable, and your crafting has to be at max. That will weed out anyone who has any concept of time. LOL. It gives choices. MMOs are all about choices. Games with big budgets like this one have appeal to a larger audience than for 4 guys in a garage. Dream on.

I never once said I didnt "Care" about them. Nor did I say anything about anyone else not "caring" about them.

I said they're broken and half non-functional and outdated and worthless.

I never even said the word "raid" wth are you even TALKING about!?

Do not address me again until you've properly read my post.

This was a last ditch money grab attempting to pull in the console suckers that hadn't experienced this SS of a game.

I'm not flexible enough to grab my ankles for that one. Update us in 4-5 more year's when it's fully cooked.

Game is doing great for an Alpha, and Im very much looking forward to the beta in May.

Frankly, Ive gone back to EverQuest over this garbage tier cash grab.

Took three years to add one raid, good luck pal.

-Separate the Trading Post into 3 trading posts: East, Central, and West.

All towns fall into one of those categories, arbitrage is back on the menu. I only play trading post so the rest of the game can eat a bag. A new OPR map would be cool though.
