Expedition lock out for solo players
As long as end game has single player lock out for expeditions the game is pretty much dead to me. I love this game but all my weapons are maxed my crafting that I care to do is maxed. And ECR's with gear drops far below what I can use or already have been than.

The expeditions give a break, I love the dungeons in this game, Also putting artifacts level requirement behind locked Expeditions is wrong as IMO, yesterday, I waited all day even tried buying help to get into dynasty to finishing leveling a item, so I could work on another.

I didn't find it that bad. The shield I had required killing enemies in Glacial Tarn. There was no group and no one recruiting. So I clicked on random and did a couple expeditions. It seems to take maybe :20 minutes or longer to get matched up.

Also, you can select expeditions in the Activities screen for Expeditions. Select a few you want to run, including Dynasty. And you will get teamed up with another wait of maybe :20 minutes or more. I finished four expeditions yesterday morning in a period of a couple hours this way. Have the M1 unlocked for those now.

Glad you have had a good experience. I have not. Qing up never works. As for creating my own group as you say through the Expeditions tab as well never works.

FIrst you need said rolls, so i get a group started and then were stuck on a roll, then someone will drop then we get a new person over and over until blah I drop too. Dungeon and dragons online, even the raids are solo able. It just needs to happen IMO

I took your advice and I did Q for a group it was about 9 minutes, curious they were half done with the quest when I pulled me in, I got my 50 kill still so thats what I wanted anyway

There is a simple solution... if you are not totally mentally brooken... you simply move on to better games which do not use stone age game mechanics and even more stonage rewarding system

They don't want to tweak it because solo play is very different even from duo play. As solo you have to do everything, handle every mechanic, take aggro from every enemy.
Group content would need to be redesigned to accommodate.

That's why solo players are supposed to do Trials and all the Expeditions that don't drop useful gear (all but one it seems) are just to show "there's a lot of content" and no one queues for them.

Expedition is a group dungeon basically. Perhaps they could do a story mode for regular versions but they are meant to be content for groups of players.

Yes I understand, I was here on day 1. Not meant to sound like ♥♥♥♥. But when they stick artifact upgrades like kill boss X or kill so many enemies behind the expedition tab, Mind you ive leveled all my weapons, all the crafting I want or care to do, so really all that is left is to upgrade artifacts, but you cant when your stuck on one, because at least for me I get a notice telling me I have to many going at one time, and there all locked behind a group mechanic. Your all right. I came back hoping some things had changed and they did , but one of the core reason people left is there is nothing or little to nothing to do and it is all locked behind a group mech, that frankly not to many Im finding are grouping

In ddo Dungeons and Dragons online all quests/ dugeons and even Raids are solable, not its really up to and your skill level if your g0ING TO be able to do that. So it is possible. Meh

Then they should at least remove expeditions from the faction quest pool. And change the requirements for the artifacts as well.

As if it was so hard to get creative with ways to integrate a great solo experience...

For life skill players - settlement "factions" you can work for and who offer end game gear able to do all content, but come with 1 useful life skill perk (never making it bis, but highly interesting to those who like a split)
-- specific artifacts added
-- ways to get them through city rep, random t5 node gathering or crafting proc (low chance) and so on (example: rep unlocks recipe, mats are way higher in lower tier, take time to gather ((good way to make irrelevant loot relevant again/green, blue rare drops)) and thus complement life skill activites with a good reward)

For combat solo pve - mutated trials that can be crafted, like an orb. Specific materials can be farmed from mobs or chests in relevant zones with higher chances from silver mobs (all solo doable). The player can then choose additional mats that specificly boost difficulty and or pool of items that are wanted and so on.
Gear will then drop up to 725 at highest difficulty, with specific stat roll, but random perks. Great solo challenge with great loot. Just examples here.

For explorational solo pve - same as combat, but you can find random maps in chests all over the world, that lead to lengthy quests, that will reward players with specific pool gear. Kind of like the old legendary weapon quests, but shorter, more often.
Again, just an example.

Every activity should contribute more towards such goals, other than gold via marketplace. Easily doable. But AGS went with chest runs...
