All legendaries for me?

My friend and I are new to the game.

We're both L61 at the moment.

Last night we ran main story missions and over about an 1 to 1.5 hours I received 37 legendaries from chests and mini bosses. At times I would get two legendaries. It was actually crazy how much I was getting.

My friend on the other had got not a single 1.

The only luck get i had was boots 2.8% and helm 2.9%. Both our faction luck for the area was at 50.

We looked at character stats and everything else we could find to see what I might have active that he didn't...but we could find nothing that was causing the disparity.

Saying that, I have purchased the premium season pass and he hasn't. Yesterday I bought about 17 levels of the season pass too. That's literally the only difference.

My thinking was that somehow me purchasing the currency to get season pass levels and then opening all the season pass rewards may have contributed to my luck via some sneaky background mechanic...kinda like you buy stuff on the store and we give you crazy background good luck.

It's for sure not simple RNG that was happening.

Does anybody know what may have been going on?

That's just how Magic find works in this game. You could have 0% MF and toggle the 1% for PVP flag and all of a sudden you are getting loaded dice and stuff you would never see before. Same with gathering. 0 luck and you be lucky to find 1 fae iron in a hour. just 3% luck and every other node will give you a rare resource.

That being said I did tons of chest runs before I bought the season pass and got to like 697GS and was getting the same exact loot as before i bought it.

It's because you are the chosen one.

Ditch your friend as he is not worthy and join the pantheon of legendary heros.

It's not the season pass as why make it a sneaky advantage? Just say buy this and get more loot drops to get people to buy it.
