How does the Ping Wheel Work? Can't clear markers, can't change markers

PC on KBM, when I hold "B" this Ping Wheel comes up.

I just first held B and the ping wheel came up
Then it put down a "Move here" marker. Now I can't remove that, and I can't change to any other pings/markers option around the wheel.

I fixed this with changing resolution.
So if you have a 1080 screen set it to 1080p res.
For some reason the wheel bugs out when you change to a different resolution.
