Worth it as new player duo?

Hey, my gf and I are looking for a game we can hangout and play together. Is Thai game still worth it! Is it new player and duo friendly?
Will it have cross progression with Xbox?

Yes the game is girl friend friendly. Its simple and very duo able.

I think a duo is the best of worlds. You can solo a lot of stuff like crafting and having a buddy to run around and explore the world is nice. Game has made many improvements since day one.
Crossplay? unknown for me. PC master race still.

yea, New World can hold up to four in a party so, yea its pretty fun doing the campaign and early game content not going to lie, but in the long run can be very grindy and has a very stale end game content sadly.

as a duo you can rezz each other if something goes wrong and you wont need to waste a lot of time for waiting for random help except for expeditions or raids.
also you can blame something other than yourself.
together you will be stronger than alone.

co op is always going to be better. I view this game as a gothic game, that just happens to have other players around. It's been okay for one playthrough, but nothing great. On sale, sure why not.

I only paid the sub for the craft bag and dlc dungeons. I'm pretty sure I have over 50k, in whatever the cash shop currency is, unused. I will say though, the true endgame for ESO is fashion and housing, so you might have to spend because Bethesda releases a f ton of content. I personally prefer irl fashion and etc, so I didn't feel a need to. With the ability to join 5 guilds, all the convenience is provided by guilds.

Afaik there will be cross play (Xbox players can play together with PC players), but not cross progression (PC players can't continue playing PC characters on XBox).
