new server for console launch?

Are they making a new server for the relaunch?

I have been having trouble finding information on this.

I know there is crossplay. But it would be weird to drop new players into a three year old server.

Why would you want to regrind trade skills to 250 again and grind pvp track? Get out of here, pvp artifacts are borderline impossible to get now.

There will be new fresh start servers. You can not transfer to them. You can transfer off to an old world server. Not sure if they will merge the current fresh starts with the original servers first. It would make sense but its amazon.

Because all of that is part of what was fun at launch and the fresh start launch. I guess that might be different now though. Are crafting items good still or are all the good items from dungeons?

I love the rush of the fresh start. Everyone competing. Game feels alive.

I'm still not sure if I will buy on console. Might just play on PC on the new server.

But a few months of entertainment will be alright by me. I havn't played in ages so I may be wrong about how a lot of things work.

PvP is gone, done, finished. Just say good bye now to even needing to join a faction or a guild. You can go do some arenas for fun, removed from rest of game in October.

PvP in this game is just a bunch of elites, and hard-gated at end game. On my current server one guy and his multiple factions n guilds owns everything, the entire map. It's a joke. I dunno, after ESO and GW2 it's just a shadow of what PvP can be.

"Hey guys, today let's be purple, ok, maybe in a couple hours we'll swap toons n go do a little blue." LOL What a joke.

Oh crap. I know what you're talking about. Isn't there faction locking for your account? I swear there was. I don't know why they wouldn't have that since it clearly leads to this situation you've mentioned.

No only for your toons are locked for a 90 day cool down. I have a toon in each faction. LOL, I can play the one with free fast travel. I am unflaged, when I was flaged I was all one faction.

Serious die hards have more than one account. Seems crazy to me but this is the way.
