Servers and player count

Hello, i want to return to New World. But the current, very low player count on EU Central servers was a shock for me. I just don't understand why they still have 3 different servers for the EU instead of 1 big server which would have a healthy amount of players at every time.

Is there a reason for not merging servers or will this happen in the future?

Yes fresh start servers were promised by AGS not to be merged. I hope they change that when the new fresh start servers come on line in Oct for the console release. I don't think there are any more servers eligible to be merge.

Because they sell server transfer tokens for $15 that's why they won't merge. Fresh start servers were always a terrible idea.

There's no such thing as a healthy amount of players, even if they do merge them for a final time it'll eventually die because the game just isn't good and every update is just more game breaking bugs per usual. Hopefully their next MMO won't fail as bad as New World did.

It's because they still make money off of transfer tokens because of those addicted to the game.

Come on players DEMANDED those servers to get away from unstoppable guilds who controlled the entire map. That's not the developers fault when once again they did what the player base demanded and got kicked in the teeth for it. So many things have been done because the players said if you do this the game will be better. The developers pushed back and eventually caved only to have the players complain later about the cost to jump off these low population servers. The game has many faults you can blame on the developers but adding more servers is not one of them.

lol it's never the developers fault for charging money for stuff that other games offer for free.

Hardcore PvP players ruined this game and communities by swarming across all servers like locusts. When they destoyed one server then they moved to another one. These days only thing for them left is premade x2 pvp for arena or x5 opr with pocket healers( at some point they even paid gold for it)

Which games offer everything for free? I don't remember any games that give free transfers. And I have two free transfers from way back when. But no use using them since all the US east is dead.
