MSQ Bugged, cannot get Heart Rune

The quest Beyond the Gates gets bugged if you do the Soul Trail w/o completing previous steps. The NPCs will despawned, and you cannot talk to them. The MSQ is needed to unlock Brimstone quests, which later unlocks a Heartgem quest to get the heart rune. Several glyphs that open chests (including in Elysium Wilds), will also be blocked.

ASG recognized the bug in their June Known Issues, but then they removed it from the list without fixing it. The recent 5.0.4 patch for Spriggen did not fix it either.

A little compassion for the players that suffer under the bugs that AGS leaves in its wake would be nice in this hate fueled world. People who post inflammatory remarks should try and refrain from such childish behavior.
