Not joking. These last few days on NWDB, you could see the maximum of players in a day was at around 3k players worldwide. And yesterday, it came up to 4.5k concurrent players worlwide.

These kids are absolute clowns and deserve to loose this game

EDIT : As of today for US East, it's 1k players, and EU Central it's 500 players. What a mess

Seems like console is a flop, who knew console players don't play mmo games. Not even 2k on the server, they show it now on nwdb

I know it must be hard to have common sense so ill fill you in. The closed beta is only available for people who own the game at the moment, which is almost fully the pc playerbase. Now take the PC playerbase and divide it to people who also own a next gen console... then also divide that by the amount of people who would care to enter the beta when theyve been playing new world for years (because theyre not testing new content at the moment theyre testing console performance). Not to mention PC will get its own beta later on, meaning there is almost no reason to jump in there right now.

I know asking for an IQ of over 50 is too much to ask so I thought Id clarify.

no? you can get keys on multiple websites for free and even xbox insider hub gives you one

well seams they are playtestiing a new server cap with 4k instead of 3k for the 2 pts only would maybe help also for legacy servers after octocer if that shard thingie wont become global as planned.
nevertheless slightly interesting to watch during the next weeks though a lot of available keys stil not claimed so far after 2 day being usable.

average person isn't going to take notice of this game and especially go sign up for sites to get a beta key. on top of that, ps plus/gamepass is required to play the official game. they really are trying to make this game fail on consoles
