so with the lv 25 upgrade completed you should have a cap of 10k.
chest n legs are the most expensive gear parts. like 3.7k each
so yea you cant buy an entire armor at once.
get 2-3 parts > farm tokens again.
also you can have 12 faction missions at a time.
so either 3 pve missions from 4 different towns
or 3 pve and 3 pvp from 2 different towns
so feel free to travel towns in order to find quests that fit your skill set.
Thanks for that information I didn't know that. If you go to a faction board in different towns does it give you a faction quest close to your level or is it in that's territories level range? I am sneaking up on level 28 it would be a bummer to have to go back to the 1-25 zones to grind faction tokens.
Regarding the OP question I don't know, I have wondered that myself. New World has several things capped at different levels that you will constantly bump up against as you just play the game.
Seems like an artificial "time played metric" extender like making fast travel restrictive and purposely putting mission locations so you have to waste lots of time running back and forth.
There isnt a good design point to the cap. You could remove it and the game would only improve from its removal, having it adds no value to the player.
Yeah pretty disappointing list of things to get and on top of that, most you have to pay gold to.
Since I am into the crafting side of things, the first rune cost me 1k and the second bag rune cost me 3k so I only had 6k to spend on faction gear which really only netted me my life staff. :(
