did you not read the post above you can trade it to other players if need be.
If you play long enough there should be bag expansions eventually in the player shop. How much will they be, no idea. Probably like 20 bucks per increase.
I did yes, but that's not the same thing is it? I want to drop something I have no use for and then someone can come along after me and if they have a use for it they can pick it up - perhaps with it perishing (disappearing) after 15 mins or so. I know you can trade.
Yeah you can't do this. I believe it's because Amazon wants to prevent people from littering the ground with feathers in their own piles, making towns become a disgusting nightmare.
It would be nice if you could drop a "chest" every 5 minutes instead of a bag, and this chest would last in the world for a few minutes available to other players. This way you could do what you're intending without having to deal with side effects.
If multiple players started dropping things, each of which the server has to track for some specified amount of time, it would deteriorate quickly into an object-addled mess that provided negligible benefit.
