Reshade safe to use?

Since they Ban like everyone, what about Reshade? Anyone got some info?

For now i wouldn't change anything about the base game Mods aside. until they make an announcement or Post about it. Not worth losing your save over it ya know.

Why wouldnt be safe, you just enhancing colors. I use Reshade for every single game.

It IS an injectable, like trainers and hacks. That is why some games can ban you for it because the ban detection sees the injectable and bans you.

Yep, thats why i told him not to spread false information, but he's already been reported, the Mods will deal with him, Hopefully OP listens to me and dosent brick his game. Unlike this psiber guy

With Reshade, one is probably dancing along the edge with a game like New World. Reshade is basically a man-in-the-middle app that intercepts graphics calls from the game to the graphics API, modifies them, then sends them on to the original target API.

So, no files are modified, but the data flowing to the graphics engine from the game IS modified. Which can result in some dodgy behaviors if setup in certain ways.

It would probably not result in a ban or anything like that, but EAC might not have it whitelisted which would prevent the game from starting. If the game does start with Reshade running, then it has probably been whitelisted in EAC, and thus would be ok.

But, then again, this is Amazon. So who knows for sure. You pays your money and you takes your chances!

Should avoid using it, it tends to trigger anti cheats on a lot of games, mmo included

I've already seen a few people get banned from posting on these discussion boards and even saw someone get their whole account banned/deleted. So enjoy I guess.
