As to why you were shown 600, then 900 and then 700 I can only assume that the company in charge of the settlement probably changed the tax rate a few times.
This game is too realistic, just pray they don't alter the plan further.
Once a week, which is dumb imo.
I am Scrooge incarnate.
Wow. so that means everything from 1000-2000 gold every week. And if we own three houses thats up to 6000. This is insane. Ive only earned 15000 gold since I started playing, and that is since release.
That's why I rent, upkeep and property taxes, the hidden killer.
That taxing also depends on where your home is, the companies that own the territory can jack your prices up. I have a 30% discount and even then I still pay 1500g.
Well depends on the tax. Just in theory if you own 3 of the most expensive houses and in all cities the tax is set to 20% which is maximum I think, then you would need to pay 12,000 gold every week. 4000 per house.
You can abandon any of your homes. You can also not pay your taxes, you just lose the few benefits you get from having one.
Yeah like you I got baited into buying the 2nd most expensive house in Everfall thinking I would be saving on rent since it was my first purchase. NOPE
Turns out only the purchase price is halved and rent remains full price.
Luckily no.
You can let your tax lapse and all you lose is your fast travel point. Tax doesn't build up, so as soon as you pay the single weeks worth of tax, your travel point is reactivated.
