What they are doing is cool for console. Have they made a mistake not focusing on their community? Yes. They basicaly killed New World on PC. But for console players, they will have a good ride. Hopefully, they will work on end game content afterwards, even tho i highly doubt it

The only real problem I see with console players would be if they added aim-assist for controller users. That's a big no-no in my book.

It's in maintenance mode pretty much, wouldn't expect any major content updates for awhile if at all. I would bet that they are focused on getting out the lord of the rings mmo at this point.

Weed World isn’t really a game that’s hard to learn. Log on, find a spot away from the bots and start picking some weeds. You could chop trees and smash rocks but I found that picking weeds yields more xp and gold value. I posted all my weeds on the trade post and got 5 gold! A huge steal.

The new player experience and other changes looks pretty legit. I think they will like it. Had the game released in that state, it could of excelled.

I also read an article about a new zone that was planned a while back, called Dunwood I think. With a Gothic theme and a bunch of underground (catacombs?) Stuff.

So hopefully things go well in October and we still see it. Yea, how they did the current community stinks. But the loud vocal minority is toxic, overly critical at times, and never happy. So no wonder AGS is unapologetically divorcing it lol

The switch from "MMO" to action RPG suggest that New World as an ongoing endeavour is coming to the end. It would tie in the how they have treated the PC community.

AGS don't deserve any goodwill, anything that that comes out of the studio should have buyer beware stamped all over it.

There upcoming LOTR MMO (or is it an action RPG) may well suffer very badly because of there actions here no matter how good it is. People are now expecting another dumpster fire.

If you need over 300 hours to learn a game and to make your opinion if you like it or not....you have issues my man. if a game,any game,single player or mmo doesnt grasp you Right away,from 5 - 10 hours,something is wrong. If you need over 3 0 0 hours to come to this conclusion,then you seem very,very slow.

I'm 51 and have seen many friends and family members die in my lifetime. You will regret the time that you didn't use on the important stuff if all you do is play games. Gaming is best considered a reward for doing the important stuff in life, it's not meant to be your life.
