this game is only on steam, whatever steam count shows, that's the total players
And the true reason for that is that the game developers killed the game for so many players by listen to a popular world of warcraft guy that destroyed the good part and future of this game, then all the microtrancations and Amazon moneytization prime garbage ! ...
I mean the mage class was awesome as it was and should have had more spells and stuff like that, but instead they nerfed the class into something not usefull anymore other than being an okay healer .. i mean wtf .. !!!
The fireball was so freaking awesome to cast before the game devs decided to destroy that !
Then ontop of that the completely destroyed the game for me by reset my main characters like multiple times ... I got sick of it and stop playing the game entirely after they deleted my main character that i had grinded all the music on .. I was a Bard and the game devs destroyed it !
Im not a fan anymore .. they ruined it totally !

This site gets their server pops directly from NW servers via AWS
Wow. I don't know what you're smoking Daddy Jeff but id sure like to have them lol :D
But if you log in the game you would see that theres barely any players.
This site shows concurrent players, not the total number of players. If, say, 8k people play at the same time per hour and everyone plays for an average of 1.5 hours, that's already 130k total.
Yes and concurrent is a more accurate measurement of games health. Not total players. I dont care about people that are playing when I'm not. Not to mention, over half of the total/concurrent playerbase are bots.
Its sad because core elements to this game are alot of fun. It will never be a mainstream MMO. There are too many options out there to waste time towards a game that is beyond recovery.
True on what matters to me, which is why I look at the nwdb one for peak on NA east and west. El Dorado is always peak west and Lilith usually peak east.
And though I am still enjoying the relatively new game to me, I can see they built a box that is quite finite, they don't know how to grow it and/or have different motivations than the playerbase, and it's really all just a facade of something deeper.
The world they created is puddle deep, filled with diverse names assembled from a Scrabble board and diverse, half-gibberish accents, while everyone conveniently speaks English, and Natasha Voiceover vomits forth yet another word salad, in this world of wacky females in charge.
This is what you get when you play everything safe and by nu-rules. A milquetoast world is boring as hell, and the most DiSrUpTiVe of updates will be to... cooking.

This game is in BAD SHAPE and pretending it isnt is no different than self-cutting. Work together to try to wake up the developers and try to save this game and stop pretending everything is OK and that the room you are in is not on fire.
I've never seen so many iron ore nodes than in the past week.
