The short version is that the devs kept promising over and over again that updates are coming to the game, just sit tight. The update that actually came was to re-brand from MMO to Action RPG and add the game to consoles but not actually giving the userbase any meaningful updates. So people are mad

They drip fed content, never fixed lots of bugs nor fixed the server stability issues (or game engine issues), strung us along with teases of content and then we find out that it's just a console release and a complete downgrade from MMO to RPG.

Don't know, but since this week I am having the "RIG Freezing issue", never had that issue. Happens only with this game, happens in menu, don't even get to ingame. Stress tested it to make sure it wasn't hardware related, it isn't. Reinstalled and files verified to fix things, no effect. AGS software is messing it up, I think they have a faulty patch or something.

I am curious if anyone else is having the same issues?

People have been mis-fed information on the game. AGS have also communicated badly about the game in their most recent update calling it an ARPG (No longer calling it an MMO when it still will be) it is going to be the exact same game in October just more polished by the look of it. Some people have started a panic and telling people to review bomb because they think the game is going to close for New World Aternum to start but... In reality and sane world, the game is just going to update and be called New World Aternum and be more polished and have some more content and more enemy mobs. Some people are still choosing to believe the game is closing when that is not the case. Its just people wanting some power to close this game even though it is actually good apart having to purchase angry earth to play the new update.

Any this is the reason just lunatics wanting to review bomb because some people want negativity and don't know how to read.

Though if AGS were clearer with their communication perhaps this wouldn't have happened.

Yea i can easily see someone looking at the walls of text that is this company's promotional material and checking out a paragraph in. This is the most believable part of this entire thread actually

They blew off major updates for over half a year saying wait for the big June announcement only for it to be a console sales pitch.
