Yep. It's probably the only plan they could muster to make some more money. NW failed hard and the primary directive is make money. So..Take what you already have (limit further investment), make it console friendly (single player/limited co-op), relaunch.

Ha, i just showed my disappointment on the sub reddit, and the mods just banned me. their discord seems to also delete my messages when trying to question it.

Amazon mods seem to be suppressing the criticism, which honestly is a VERY bad sign.

It's been like 20 years and 20,000 projects trying to dethrone the king hasn't it?

Meanwhile Wold of Warcraft is on it's eleventy millionth expansion with about as many players to buy it.
