ESO has lots to explore, lots of trade skill stuff. It's fun to gather and explore a lot and quite casual. The combat is meh, it gets stale. But it's always adding constant content and pretty good for the more casual MMO Player.

New World, we don't know it's future right now. It has okay crafting, and exploring, but we don't know if this game will even be here this time next year...

ESO is more expensive.. if you want to craft you will need a subscription for crafting material storage. I forgot how the expansions work.. it's been a while. I think bought separately or another sub.

New World a lot prettier than eso.. trade skills are a tad bit more satisfying, combat is more satisfying. Overall more immersive. It hasn't been around for over a decade so not nearly as much to explore.. but for the price of admission with no sub, it gives good value.

Which one to buy? Up to you.. I played both games in there beta/alphas. I don't see myself ever going back to eso.

Purely subjective. Not the best time to ask as there is a lot of rage in the forums

Perhaps if they increase the player base with console players then they will gain enough revenue to add more content to the game.

I played ESO and is fun and pvp is good, but I like more NW.

Even if the content is right now like pointless to do and in my opinion the crafting to craft max level items is sick, I think New world pve and pvp is better.

As pvp player I like the tactical combat new world has, that is for me my biggest reason to play this game.

In ESO is spamm skills without stop and mostly of the times your just dead with your hp bar depleted asking to yourself wtf killed you.

The problem of NW is that seems they have been working in console launch and refining the experience for new players instead update current content like rewards still being in GS 625 and giving more pvp options.

You should wait for the Tarisland game. It will be released on the 21st of this month. Try it. If you don't like it. Buy TESO.

It's a fun game especially if you're a new player starting now. Just remember to get angry earth before October and you will then be able to play the Aternum update. By the time October comes around I imagine you'll be closer to end game but depends on how much you play the game each week. October could bring a new and good change for the game so hopefully as you say more content will be fine to appear.

Only time will tell. AGS haven't done well by us PC players so far as we've mainly been ignored which is why everyone is angry but in the end they're a business and need to look out for their product and I think what they've done could work out well.

Yes it is my opinion we all like different things and i don't like AGS for the poor communication about their game but throwing toys out of the pram isn't going to help this game. Its not helldivers 2. AGS are trying to contain a future for the game and even though it has been terribly communicated and confusing... I haven't lied about anything but if you're talking about AGS their confusing remarks about the game could be thought of as that. The player base is bad for an mmo but atleast if you are on the one of two populated servers you wont even know that there is an issue, plus with the shard system this should help.

If you want to paint a picture of false info go ahead and do it, but in the end the facts will show themselves. New Worlds current state isn't good and the end game is a little non existent but it has got some and the game is a little messy but within its core is a fun game with good gameplay. I'm not saying October is going to be a win for the game as who knows! Though from what we have been shown perhaps it could be a cleaner product than what we currently have. They've been telling us to wait till June all this time so I would imagine in all this time they've been sorting out the game. If we find out in October that it is a pile of trash then players will say so and thats it for the game.
