new to the game between Bow+spear Vs Bow+Hatchet which is better?

Spear. But I like spear and hatchet together myself.

Hatchet was VERY good one upon a time, now not so much. For PVP Spear/Bow would be the better choice. spec for bow damage, spear to get out of trouble and build the gap back up. For general PVE throwing hatchet and GS is nice.

You get 3 characters so flip one to the other weapon selection. BTW, you can keep the name going if you delete it and make a new character with the same name, so weapons are not a problem
