EXTREME LAG AND LOADING TIMES

I just redownloaded the game for the first time in 2 years. It takes about 5 minutes to get through the launch screen and then when I finally hit play it takes about another 5 minutes to get me in game. Once im in the game I have horrible lag and stuttering and can hardly move. And if I come upon another loading screen it still takes about 5 minutes. I have an i7 7700k, a 3060, and I have the game downloaded on my SSD. I have verified files, uninstalled and reinstalled, changed my graphic settings within the game and everything and nothing has helped. I have no issues like this in any other game I play so I know it has to be directly related to the game or within the files of the game. PLS HELP

It happened to me, I stopped playing 18 months ago and i want to play again but i have next issues: lancher is slow, lags on towns and loading times so long.
2 year ago i didnt have these issues and i updated my computer this time

Same here, fresh install maybe 3 or so weeks ago. At first game was fine then it began having rubber banding issues about 40% of the time. Now the game will not load up or takes quite a while. I shut down everything else and watched the CPU, memory and GPU usage while loading. It was 20% CPU usage, but 12 on memory usage. GPU was not used or at most 1%.

12/16 gb memory usage is uncalled for. I paid for the expansion and its been so hit or miss that I have not been able to play due to its instability.

same here, used to play in highest graphics 2 years ago, now can't run meduim without ips drops and freezing frames

I had the same issues as you guys. I have been playing from the beginning and the update 3 months before the expansion really stressed my pc out. I tried upgrading my motherboards ram and bought a 4060ti and it still didnt help. Every time I would fast travel is would take 2 minutes. Every time I speed boosted on my mount is would freeze and put me 15 yards off the road.

I fixed all of that by upgrading my SSD to 2 terabytes and re downloading steam and putting it on the SSD. Now I fast travel within 5 seconds and never skip.

I've only been able to log into New World Angry Ground once for over a week. Tried typing for help, was forwarded here from Steam's email ... no one to help, only people having similar problems. Sadly it does not appear anyone who made or sold this expansion / game will help. Slow to try and upload, never launches, goes to white screen and I log off, game says I was playing it in Library, yet I never accessed the game. I signed on long enough a few days ago to get my mount and the new portals and signed on once after I got my mount, have not been able to sign back on again. So in over a week, I have signed on twice for a hour or two ... I would scream, but no one would hear me :.( ... Is there anyone from this game able to access my game and help me find out what the problem is. As I have uninstalled, reinstalled, cleaned catche, dozens of times ... it's not on my end ... HELP PLEASE

ran perfectly after launch, and for their fresh starts. Retried a month or so ago, and non stop stutter. Heard they patched it and wanted to check out the expansion, so i reinstalled again.

Took me over an hour to get past "suspicious software or corrupted install" disconnect, and when I finally get in its entirely unplayable.

EDIT: In case you just need to get past that error, I think what fixed it for me was closing discord. Try that and / or try relaunching the game immediately after getting that error, for me I did both and it loaded up a bit faster with no error, just the same unplayable stutter from the past patches.

Played hard since day one.. but the last server merge wrecked the game for me. It's not my rig at all as I can pull off much more demanding games with ease, this team has just dropped the ball. Which proves the poor quality if it comes from Amazon....

im literally have the same issue as well i redownloaded the game because of the expansion and literally i cannot play the game, im stuttering everywhere, loading screen takes forever , my CPU usage goes to 100% on this game only. i have nothing else open in the backround. never had a issue running this game in the past and not i cant even play it . i have no issues like this on anything other game i play and so i know for sure its this game. bummer :(

Do you guys have macro's installed? I've got close to 5k hours and have never experienced that error.
