35 Mutations, No Artifact drop

AGS... C'mon... I just wasted so much time grinding the Dynasty Shipyard dungeon mutations, 35 consecutive runs, and nothing.

"Just put on some luck gear!" - tried that, nothing.

"Equip a sword!" - I tanked all 35 runs with sword and shield. (excluding maybe 2 or 3)

"Surely you'll get it on the 35th! They cant just let you run it 35 times then cap you out and NOT drop it!? Right?" - Yep, thats exactly what happened.

I watched numerous others get there butcher artifact on their first, second, or third runs, but here i am. 35 runs, no butcher... WHAT. THE. F**K.

Think this may have been the straw that broke the camels back. That is just insane. I was totally chill and rooting for you guys while everyone else was up in arms over every little detail. I went to bat for you guys and have been trying to convince my friends to come play. I told them its not as bad as all the reviews, discussions, forums, etc. all say... But now... Now i'm pissed... You just wasted so much of my time and now have blocked me entirely from any and all chances at obtaining The Butcher for another ~4 weeks. (the one artifact i actually wanted)

Some of us have invested far too much into this game for far too long for it to STILL be a half-assed thrown together shell of an mmo.

F**k you, fix your damn game.

2 mutations and artifact dropped for me on dynasty. Im close to 100 portals in and still havent got a artifact, but it gives me something to grind for.

I got mine on the 34th try, I had lost hope and I found a group that had already started 2 hours ago xD, I arrived at the last boss like a hero and I got it!

Do you have any other Artifact quests in your log? If you have 5 incomplete ones at once (the max) I know PvP track artifacts won't drop. It's a bug. Not sure if it works the same for other artifacts though. I ran 31 times for Butcher...now I'm running 20+ for BB chest (Darkplate). Something is broken with their loot system. There is zero chance that I can watch 2 people get it almost every run, most within their 1st 5 runs, and not get it. That means the drop rate is like 5%...but then I see dozens get it 1st try. Doesn't add up. I think they got a - where a + should be for the magnetism on loot for artifacts. I got a ton of artifacts that I never use 1st try. ALL of the things I actually want to tank with won't drop.

All I know is there are 3-5 MMOs coming out next year and some betas happening in Dec. New World is done if they can't fix things by January. Sub 5k players online kinda done. Every event and every expansion is just more grind. Most chest runs. Nothing that's interesting. Artifact quests should have been epic and fun. Instead it's just grinding the same bosses over and over. The quests are kill bosses/mobs over and over. Nothing new. Pax Dei and Chrono Odyssey both look amazing and I will have no qualms about swapping immediately if they are decent.

Good luck to you man, Hope you get it next rotation for Dyn...luck doesn't help btw (you already know that) Also, M1-3 all have the same chance. Nothing helps that I've found.

I feel you. Its just not fun gameplay when you put in so much time nd get nothing from it. Im curentley running Depths for the stopwatch and nothing after 10 runs. And I whas running barnacles for the void plate and after 32 runs i just gave up. Thinking of quiting this game cause artifacts just dont drop.

FYI Luck gear. For luck gear to even work you have to be very lucky TWICE. Its not a night and day thing, so temper expectations Also have they actually said luck effects artefacts? It technically should as luck only really effects the contents of dropped bags ( on NPC death, very important) and nothing else (there are some minor exceptions). I wouldn't be surprised if artefacts are in the own table which luck doesn't effect, really wouldn't. Running an M1 in ludk gear is very doable buy the way.....
