Crashing Upon Expedition Entrance
Bruh moment. Can't enter any expeditions because i'll just get a persistent black screen and crash. It's real great. I love it when my group members depend on me and I crash. I love not being able to tell them that I crashed so they think i just dipped out. It's great, I really love this game. Wow. Just amazing.

3 weeks they can't solve this problem...

Same. I crash both before and after (not 100% of the time, mind you). It's becoming depressing, especially as the splash screen also hangs for over a minute (not responding) and I'm trying to get back on asap.

Same here, 90% crash chance at entering an expedition (and i still lose a key). I sent some web-tickets, but since my GPU (1050Ti) dont reach the minimal requirements, they dont even botter try to understand my problem. And I still tried to argument since several players use this same GPU, but looks like they dont give a F....about it.

Glad to hear i'm not the only one having this issue. I really wish I could play this game regularly but the crashing makes it unbearable. And i'm surprised it's not a bigger issue, it would be nice to know if they were actively trying to fix these crashes so i don't feel like i'm wasting my time playing a game that's gonna piss me off 90% of the time. When the game came out the FPS in towns was fine, FPS in the open world was fine, there was little to zero stuttering and no crashes. With every update it seems like the performance gets worse. Maybe it's because of the increased server cap and more people playing, but it really shouldn't be getting this bad and I hope it's a priority fix on their list of fixes.

3 weeks of 100gbs of patches and still can't fixed the crashes. Yesterday I wasted 5 expedition runs for random people just because the game kept crashing entering the expedition.

Anyone complaining has a potato PC. The only problems you should having are memory leak problems(just restart your game). I haven't had any crashes entering a dungeon in the expansion, just long loading screens. Fortunately, Black Friday and CyberMonday are upon us, get your upgrades while you can for cheap, you won't regret the investment.

old hardware gonna cause 20fps but not crashing. If its crashing its most likely a software issue. That could be anything from OS to individual drivers. Im running stable on win10 for reference.

edit: you can try typing "event" into windows start tab to get to windows event viewer. It logs crashes so might give a hint on the cause.

Guess I'm just lucky. Or my PC is brute forcing this game to work.
More likely you're just not willing to admit the issues that apparently a significant portion of players face. Not even the most staunch supporters of this game will say there are no performance issues. In other words, I don't believe you and no one else should either.

bruh if youre hardware can't load the software before it times out, crashes occur due to hardware not being able to compute fast enough...

I have friends with better PC's than me and they experience the same crashing issues. Even after updating windows, my drivers, reinstalling the game, resetting windows, the game still crashes. It's not an issue of my PC, my PC can handle most other games fine. It's something to do with the Azoth Engine. I know that restarting my game does help with the stuttering sometimes but that shouldn't be the normal way to "fix" lag, it shouldn't even happen at all. You're part of the problem saying "Anyone complaining has a Potato PC" that literally helps no one. Like Dogtatokun said, "More likely you're just not willing to admit the issues that apparently a significant portion of the players face."

If my PC isn't good enough then a good percentage of people should never even try this game. My computer can run other stuff without issues, but here we are. Apparently Amazon made such an amazing game that a PC built for gaming can't run it without constant crashes. You're really selling this game with your lies. It's posts like this that, when seen, actually do more damage to the game as it becomes clear that members of the community will lie and be toxic af.

Crashed 6 times in 3 hours. So frustrating!

Potato PC???

Stop suggesting that that's the problem! Everyone here ran this game flawless before the expansion. Regardless of PC quality. You guys arguing that it's a PC issue are tards. Even streamers running I9 and 4090 are crashing. So just stop.

Not to mention, a very important detail you're leaving out, the minimum requirements when the game launched and player purchased the game. They met the requirements THEN. That's all that's important. Amazon blocking players that paid for the game is illegal, if they met the requirements at launch.
