Artifact inconsistency
I think it's completely and utterly unacceptable that certain artifacts are locked behind artificial walls when others can be farmed on a 6 minute respawn.

Let's take Scorpion's Sting for example. Only drops from Scorpio. Scorpio only spawns during the night, he's on a 90 minute respawn timer. It can SOMETIMES spawn 2-3 times during 1 night cycle but I've only ever seen 1 or 2 spawns and 2 is very very rare.

That means you can have 10-15 attempts at other Artifact weapons that have a 6 min respawn in the same amount of time of 1 attempt for Scorpion's Sting. Does that make logical sense to you AGS?

What's the logic behind this? Force your players to play more? Suck as much play time out of us before the content drys up and we all quit for the next 6 months?

I just think this is completely egregious. It's so clearly a ploy to make people spend more in game time.

That's all just related to artifact spawn times, I could go on and on about how weak and lazy the upgrade process is for each artifact. "Kill 30 mammoths" seriously? No quest or lore behind each artifact weapon? You added in 1 person trials, use that. Anything but these artificial walls that make you spend more time in game.

Specifically for the Scorpion's Sting artifact weapon, you could so easily fix this it's laughable. If you're dead set on keeping Scorpio to only respawn during the night, then you NEED to make it spawn repeatedly every 6 minutes or x minutes until day time. 1 attempt every 90 minutes it just completely unacceptable when other weapons can be farmed every 6 minutes...

I'm now on day 4 of only logging in every 90 minutes to try for the spear, i'm 20+ kills dry. Haven't left the cave in 4 days... This a complete joke, ags get your heads out of your asses, fix this ♥♥♥♥. This is nowhere close to being engaging or fun, it's simply not and I can't see any sense of logic behind this.

If you're not going to change it, explain yourself and the reasoning behind the inconsistencies in artifact respawn times.

And get camped so you might not even get a kill.
Its crap of course its a ploy, Yesterday Amazon Got busted by using fake players (Bots) to make it seem like their games and other stuff on twitch are more popular then they actually are. been trying weeks for sting, no luck i'm giving up, Baldur's Gate 3 Time.
When they add the 2nd artifact for the other side of the tree maube it be reverse ones in PK track the alternative one would be mob drop and vice versa :p just gotta wait till season 6 lol

development cost reduction by slowing down players progression
similar with trying to push players into pvp,
whre the players are the content
and
development costs a tiny fraction of that of developing pve content

This is not true. I have killed him many times with a spear and it still has not dropped.
Yeah gated items are a pain. Don't get me started on how many PVP hours you will have to log to get some of the artifacts gated behind all that mess.....
Artifact break all kind of balance in PVP ! They are destroying it little by little
