Every few days i go to play new world i get this constant 10 gig update and after that it patches the rest of the 84 gig game. Its annoying because i have no idea what its updating, its always a 10 gig update though my game always stays at 84 gigs it doesnt jump up to 94 which im not sure if thats how it works but thats what i thought. This just constantly happens and i hate waiting for an hour to play the game for what looks like nothing to be changed for an update as big as a constant 10 gigs. This is probably the 4th time ive had to do this so 40gigs worth of updates.
Anyone else have this updating and patching problem? Is it normal or anything i can do about it?

I have the same issue, currently downloading/updating 10.5gb and 83.6gb. This happed last time I tried to log in as well (2-3 days ago). Super frustrating.. From reading a few googles, it seems the game's files could be badly "packed" so anytime they update anything, no matter the size, it causes these huge updates to reorganize everything. Totally could be wrong but I think that's what people were trying to say about it.

What you are experiencing is normal.

the update is downloaded , then verified , the game is copied then patched with the downloaded data , then again verified and after it passes the verification the old game data and updates are deleted.

the only time you will see an increase in the game size if something new get's added that wasn't already in the game files itself already...
