Game Unplayable

Can't play this game after the DLC content was added.

I am loading into the game, running at 80+ FPS when not moving but rubber band consistently and game freezes every 3-5 seconds.

I'll give an exhaustive list of what I've tried and maybe someone comes to a solution in the near future before I refund this expansion.
i7 10700k
RTX 3070

Game was running fine prior to DLC release. I've tried the following with no progress:
-Restarting Game Client
-Restarting Steam
-Uninstalling Overwolf (saw on a forum as potential problem)
-Verifying game files
-Reinstalling game all together (and on a separate drive all together)
-Checking for Windows updates
-Allowing priority firewall access to NewWorldLauncher.exe (Saw as possible solution on forum)
-Installing latest graphics drivers
-Clearing EasyAntiCheat Cache

I think that's it but maybe there was more. If anyone has a solution I haven't tired let me know.

same its unplayable, well at least when i get close to a town then its a laggy mess. never had issues prior to this DLC. not really happy with the optimisation at all. They should have delayed it until it worked. Mounts, what ever, i'll take a smooth playable game over those bland mounts.

I am glad i am not the only one then its happening to me fine out of the towns but when near there its a laggy mess! I thought it was something to do with my pc but it was running fine before all this new DLC mount rubbish.

The game used to run and look great but now it runs horribly even on low graphics. and looks horrible even on ultra high graphics settings. What happened to this game?

Having the same issues. Freezing/stuttering every time i move and this never happened before the update. I really hope they pay attention to people like us having these issues because most of the time it feels like we get ignored. Optimization is a joke.

just curious, i have the same problem, constantly getting 100% cpu usage tho, dont know if its the same as you, but is your game installed on an hdd??

is your game on an hdd? im trying to narrow down possible reasons why.

Ive had much better luck with many games since moving over to a ssd drive. Not saying thats the issue, but it sure has made my life better. Im not sure how these games are being written now...but im willing to bet theyre using ssd themselves. Old school HD's are no longer feasible imho.

You need to put the game on an ssd , ideally a gen 3 M.2.
You should be aiming for a drive with at least 3500mb/s read speed

Though it must be said I think all the horses are affecting gameplay as well as the high player numbers.

idk if you know the answer to this but figured id just ask. when installing a new ssd (im gonig to buy one right now) do i just plug it into the slot and screw it in? dont need to add a heat sink or anything?

I had running prior to dlc on hdd. When it was causing problems I reinstalled on ssd and issue persisted

I too am experiencing 100% cpu usage during spikes. Pc Temps all seem fine

Same here, got the specs to at least run on high video, but even on low it is laggy and crashes. What are they going to do about this!? It is nofun this way.
