sadly - I dont think they will bring it - also "high resolution"-textures would make this game sooo much better. its a blurry and ugly world - even in 4K maxed out

The game is running like crap. In the open word with noone around it's ok. But heavy combat and cities it's terrible! Why did they do this?!

In order for them to do that, they first need to implement DX12, which is something that they have confirmed to be working on. No timeline given though

fsr 3 works officially on dx11

Maybe, I haven't checked on that. But technically speaking implementing DX12 properly first instead of rushing fsr 3 even though it works in DX11 would be the right thing to do.

Upscalers won't increase FPS if performance issue is caused by CPU

they do since fsr3 got future frame for nearly all cards and they ignore a cpu bottleneck

lmao my hardware runs this game beautifully its not a gen issue at all. It's your cruddy computer thats likely bottlenecked, dusty and faulty. I cant stand playing the game for more than 2 hours before wanting to die, im no fanboy, just cant stand you morons making posts thats your own problem.

You know your replies are not really helpful what so ever. It seems to me you are just trolling someone who has an issue. First step back and read then give a response that has some meaning to the conversation that's helpful next time. You insults someone on their rig yet you have no clue if their rig is any good or not. I am having issues with mine and before you go into all that crap let me give it to you like this. I play over nine different games including VR games this includes Star Citizen which would run circles around this game. I am running MSI extreme board with an RTX 3060 12 gigs crossfire (x2) and 32 gigs of ram to boot yet this game is trash. And believe me when I say I didn't just buy my rig from some store I built my rig from ground up and have been doing this for years now. So please next time don't insult people when you don't know the full issue at hand.

Towns are severely CPU limited at the moment and no DLSS or FSR will fix this.

And this is a real issue. I find it beyond stupid how some people say "hurrdurr it's your PC" when for sure even their PC can't reach full fps in towns. Let's say for an example if someone gets steady 144fps out of town that person may still get below 80fps in towns with awful stutter and 1% lows because the game client is so bad at handling lots of people at once. You can have a 7800X3D and 4090 and still notice fps drops because the client is just ♥♥♥♥.

If it was any other game its community would come together and ask for devs to improve it but in New World's case half of the community is trying to make the other half shut up and are defending dev incompetence to no end. It's just very sad to see.
