Why are bots not banned?

The game barely has 20k players worldwide and such a big amount of bots.

Is amazon incompetent or do they endorse the usage of such tools in new world? I wonder, because it is becoming ridiculous at this point.

I don't understand, what do you mean by "bots"? Bots (not real people) are playing this game too? You mean like AI players or something?

Wouldn't be as many bots or currency farmers in MMOs if people stopped buying from them.

I've seen personally how certain gamers will use auction or real life currency sites in games and deny it minutes later after mysteriously getting 500k in their mailbox.

It's a systemic problem that start with the Devs. They make "MMOs" that gift Godhood to say <1% of the playerbase than make like >50 of the playerbase chase fun for thousands of hours till they quit and spend money on the cash shops. The RMT vendors are there because players want to skip the thousands of hours of chasing the fun to be competitive. So RMT vendors will in most cases offer players a "better" deal then the game developer team.

Ever wonder why New World has such a bot issue? Then I challenge you to follow the money. You'll find huge corruption and illegal dealings going on behind the scenes.

I think the actually amount of bots in the game are down significantly from launch. On the flip side of the coin the amount of people using scripts has increased dramatically, as a percentage of the remaining player base.

They need the money and the numbers and that is why I think why AGS is relaxed on the banning process. Of course my play time has dropped dramatically over the last half year so I may not be the best judge on this particular manner.

Play time is dropping even more since the announcement that the First Light territory that I paid for when I bought the game (that was taken away from me) is now going to require me to spend more money to get it back.

Sorry AGS I will not pay again for something that I already paid for as a matter of principle. I am not the only one that feels this way and I think this will lead to even less dealing with Bots to keep the numbers somewhat inflated.

This crap I see a lot more often than actual bots. The player base is doing this just as much if not more.

You are running into more people using scripts now in New World, because nearly all of the fair-play players have stop playing. Lets face it, not many legit players find enjoyment in playing with a bunch cheaters who don't get punished. I'd expect you to see more and more cheaters as more and more legit players leave. It's APB all over again.

A ton of bots are banned, lol... This game had a HUUUUGE bot problem, but thats gone... There are still some bots left, but they dont stay that long, anymore. Last year, the same bot could work 24/7 at the same spot forever... You dont see that anymore.

Rust players grew up, New world is a playground for ppl who grew up using scripts, rmt, gambling and partaking in illegal dealings on discord. Facepunch makes money from these people if they realise it or not and so does New world, heck even Blizzard does.

Cheating in videos games creates almost as much revenue if not more than the actual game. Rust kids pay 20 bucks a week for a multi hack that is more than a game sub lol.

Do i need to say more than chest runs taking a whole day of expansion hype on twitch....too many ppl addicted to randomised loot and general gambling these days.

Cheating and gambling give similar adrenaline rushes there r studies on it. That is why u see many of these things in New World addicts = money.

I'm still enjoy fallout 4 and Skyrim and TOTK such games won my heart, I got no idea how game industry became and where it going, but I believe as a player your intuition tell everything, like a hunter, you do not need persuation, you decide how things going, if the power enough, we shape the industry.

Half the players in current "modern" games are bots. They can't get people to play their crappy games. NW has a HUGE amount of bots that will never get banned because it would expose just how many players they actually have...which is almost none.

absolutely agree, bots and cheats ruin games and any company that thinks its ok to have either so they get more money will never get a red cent from me and the scum that use bots and cheat can go F themselves.
