But, with that said, leveling is really quick in the game so it doesn't really take much to hit 60 and since I understand a season is supposed to last a few months you probably have time ... assuming of course AGS hasn't tailored the grind to sell more passes and boosts.
I like it
PvE is sweet, just start mining, gathering , skinning, kill mobs, level up weapons, do the quests for interesting loot, house items , cosmetics.
1-60 I really enjoyed and I was a release player.
Game is much easier to quest now instead of running for hours, the quests are nearby and your fast travel options much more.
Unlock all the travel shrines you can, huge thing later on to be able to quick travel for events or to your favourite farming spots.
Be warned crafting kind of sucks, you need 200 levels then 3 silly trophy, 3 houses, full crafter set of armor...That BS put me off and was so disappointing.
Now I just craft house items and cosmetic stuff. I also craft the season 600 gearscore armor sets which are noce for PvE.
Greatsword, Blunderbus is nice PvE build, so is spear but try them all
