Rise of the Angry Earth - we have to pay for it?

Unfortunately, on August 30, 2023, Amazon announced that the new Rise of Furious Earth add-on will be paid, even though they initially assured that all add-ons will be free(?) You have to pay ~$30.00 for the new add-on. What do we get in return? Mounts (you have money, have mounts) 5 new levels, 1 (ONE) dungeon and not even a new area on the map, just a redesigned existing one. This is an open mockery of players and an attempt to extract extra money from a dead game. That's not how it's done. Amazon, you're going down. Add plenty of extra free activities that will keep players coming back, not just cash out!

When did Amazon Games initially assure us that all expansions would be free for New World?

You're expecting a NOT to pay to win game to pay for something that they have worked on for more than a year for a game where everything that is buy are just skins and similar?
They had to do it and if ESO does it always with a new expansion when it comes out why New World should not do the same?

The mounts will most likely be conjured on the spot, come on... but that's poor. The nobility rides on horseback and the peasants on foot. Hiding such basic mechanics as mounts in a paid add-on is a shot in the knee, they will get over it quickly. Unless Amazon has come to terms with the fact that 10,000 people will play in the new world.

Why would you not pay. It has to be developed which cost money. If you are unhappy or unwilling to pay then go somewhere else. Many of us enjoy NW even with some of the issues.

Are you blind, can't you see where this is going? What improvements? What extras? Hiding such basic mechanics? You've completely understood nothing and still haven't come to any conclusions. That's why it's because of people like You that this game will die. Ruthless slapping developers on the back despite the mistakes they make and contrary to what the larger community says, will end up with less and less people playing NW. Such moves will not help bring back old players, much less attract new ones. You're terribly locked up in your narrow mind.

The wonderful thing about having so many choices is that well we have so many choices. I have played EQ from launch ESO SWTOR and I got to tell you for the money ..... this game allows you to walk on any terain you see, you can pay to play with all the chests and crap in ESO but you cant walk on everything you see period this game is far superior in terms of return on investment of 50 bucks, I have no problem tossing andother 30, I dont spend money on bling and skins so no problem giving them another 30 for mounts. I have been playing this game since launch and still loving it.

people complained form the very beginning from lack of mounts. amazon claimed they were not needed. but pay us 30 doll hairs and we will give them to you. what a joke.
