They can add only immersive looking stuff, just give players options...
And tbh., it should be free, it´s a standard feature in many games.
Also, it´s almost impossible to judge the ingame look from what you see in the editor.
I don´t think I would pay for something with an unclear outcome.
In two years, after the playerbase falls to 3k players across pc and consoles, AGS will decide to release the game on Switch and call it New World: Aeternum: The Island. They'll also need to bundle whatever tiny little expansion they'll come up with in between into the Aeternum pricing, so it will be like 90 bucks. And one of the biggest features of the release will be a barbershop.
