Just like the P2W conspirators.
Creating assumptions based on thin air does nothing but create chaos. It is similar to claiming that a game is P2W due to suggestions of certain things in an Alpha test.
You assume it is an attack on you. I was generalizing. YOU volunteered your own finger to point at yourself. I did no such thing. YOU are creating an argument where there was none.
DO not make this discussion an excuse for you to troll on others. I will not work well.
2+2 =/= 5
You are again assuming that paid skins and transmog are competing systems.
Now, if I were to make a prediction I'd assume transmog is going to require a resource of some sort, and that said resource is likely to have multiple methods to get, probably the faction shops being one of them.
More sinks would be nice.
You failed to answer my question, why?
First point, yes, they are competing systems. The sole purpose of cosmetics in games are to gather money, the company can, sometimes, give you some skins to lure you about seeing yourself different, gain your curiosity to check the store, and induce you to purchase more skins, this is something pretty clear and common.
If you implement methods that give ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to players, players will feel less and less the need to purchase skins, thus killing the only method that you have to get incoming... So, yes, both are competing, allowing us to freely transmog items into skins will kill the game because, (be honest) skins in New World suck, they are horrible, and no one would purchase if we didn't have other option... Well, transmog is the other option.
Second point, I do agree with you that it could come in multiple ways to get the resource, or item, and they could be free, but it would be a huge load of grind to get it, enough to make you think "should I grind this much, or should I simply purchase from the store?", because that's the whole point, give them the taste of the good ♥♥♥♥ and make them pay for it.
