Anti-aliasing?

Is there no anti-aliasing setting in the game or I just can't find it?

I'm playing on very high preset on 1440p and there are massive jaggies and shimmering like it's 800x600. Using DSR to 4K or 5K have little to no effect.

i heard on the low preset it disables anti aliasing, but if it seems youre playing on a very low resolution it might be a windows size and scaling issue, in that case you want to set the game's exe's options to disable full screen optimization and set dpi scaling to app controlled.

besides the fixes i just mentioned that reduce a lot of blurryness, i just use a high preset with a nvidia sharpening filter to counter the remaining blurryness issue caused by temporal anti aliasing. while aggressive TAA can cause blurring issues, it should also eliminate any form of jagged edges and shimmering.

That is simply not true. Sometimes I'll find an amazing view just out farming and I'll actually stop to enjoy it. The rain effects are so charming.

Thats amazing.. though it means nothing about the game being ugly.. So you can filter/mess around to get the perfect screen shot.. you could do the same thing with a high end video toaster.. (or whatever they call them these days).. Now keep that while you play an we can talk.. actually minus some niche system, get the game to look half that good on most system then you can talk =) No one cares if you micro-manage every individual line of graphics code.. if you have to do that .. to make a game not look ugly.. your doing something wrong =)

No one cares if you micro-manage every individual line of graphics code.. if you have to do that .. to make a game not look ugly.. your doing something wrong =)

no that just means you're willing to get the most out of your computer/experience. if u dont want to do that then you should buy a console

also i dont micromanage anything, all i did was preventing a common issue with Windows Size and scaling which affects many games, and slap on a simple nvidia filter as it works well together with TAA which most games use nowadays

What AA type this game even uses? It's definitely not TAA, because in games with TAA my jaggies are minimal and picture is usually very clean and clear. Here it feels like I've been thrown 20 years back in time, AA feels like non-existent.

as far i know its still TAA, it behaves the same way as it does in FO76
