But nothing beats EQ. The grind, the ever increasing ability to make your character more powerful through AA's and then living weapons.

WoW, hands down. I've never heard of DAoC 2 before. I have played AoC at launch, but that's the extent of it.
NW to me feels like a baby compared to WoW. There is just not that many things to do here, and the story is almost non-existant. Still, NW combat is much more engaging and modern.

My bet is most here are not old enough to know DaoC / AoC, personally only know it by hearsay. But it we wanna delve into esoteric ancient mmos i found neocron most interesting.

you are comparing 2 legendary mmorpg, one thats not even out, and new world lol, comparison makes no sense to begin with imo. but if i were to pick even if i dont like the combat id pick WoW by the fact that it is still one of the greatest mmorpg's with lots of content, updates and huge playerbase.

By DAOC 2, do you mean Camelot Unchained? Because I've played that and I wouldn't hold out hope for it to pull out of the heap it's in.

DAOC was awesome back in the day. It's old enough to drink, though, and playing it today is a kind of torture.
