Amazon Games: New World is a success and we're going to keep building on it (plus the fans aren't complaining).
Tell me which mentality is more like to get things fixed.
You hit it 100% here for sure, Dog. :)
Not really the same sadly
Everyone remember the liar that had his face plastered all over the internet for a time?
Amazon has a CEO that took off after launching this 1 year early and ScotLane the AFK bot that sits outside dungeons LFGroup and claiming he was surprised that they created a bottleneck that caused people to clump up in a zerg as a happy accident, he also quit WoW after getting to level 60 thinking the game had no more content.. and look at NW's content..
They have literally got gameplay mechanics dated back to when Scot Lane was a teenager, hell even Chimeraland has a better character creation and parkour.
New world isn't a bad game, almost everything is right... but it doesn't have any soul, it's just a product to sell, not a child of developers.
That's why i don't expect new world getting better.
Makes sense as to why they had no monthly sub it was so heartless the way they nickle and dime us.. Oh wait that was Blizzard who many of the haters flocked back to for their latest trash expansion.. In fact gives away so much on Prime Gaming for FREE and just had a massive booth at TwitchCon to hype New World last week. But yeah so heartless and faceless of them to show up and face potential fans and haters alike.

False equivalency on so many fronts.
Amazon is flush with cash but apparently not talent.
Let us know when your MMO is ready. I can't wait to see your "talent".
Informal fallacy... sort of a tu quoque one perhaps....
One does not have to be a chef or restaurant owner to be critical of the food prepared by a chef hired by that restaurant owner to be poorly done and unappetizing.
NMS didn't really "come back" though, at least not in the sense that I think this game can. It just became an appealing game for it's audience due to Hello Games introducing new features for every XP they develop. The core game is still exploring procedural generated planets and cataloging the flora and fauna while playing the stock market, similar to how it was at launch, things are just more convenient now.
This game should probably stand on it's own merit, considering that it was hailed as a "success".
This is true however i'll take the word of a food critic over some random person on the interwebz. The problem is everyone has an opinion on how easy it is to make a game yet most have not the slightest clue what's involved. It's like people spit on all the hard work that was put into the game just because someone doesn't like certain aspects of the game. Let me go critic McDonald's because the fries are always soggy. I'm sure the CEO will feel destroyed by my critical review while counting his shareholder profits.
