Is it true that out of the 2 Start areas Monarch's Bluffs is way better?

Watched a youtuber claiming that the devs did not put as much work into the Windsward Starting area to the point they suggested walking to Monarch's Bluff is a much better idea then staying in Windsward.

I'm wondering if anyone else can comment more on this?

First light isn’t a spawn… Monarchs is supposed to be better than Windsward due to the having more new quest lines, which have better xp rewards.

After last patch (BSS) the newbie zones were narrowed to only 2 now. Both spots have thier positives and negatives.

Monarchs is more Lumberjack/Mining.

The difference is the resources nearby.
Monarchs has an Elite zone that is pretty cool to farm.

Lot of people are saying a lot of Quests in Monarch was pretty much 100% redone where Winds was only part done as they felt like they did not need to do it. The quest flow and just the quest itself line was more enjoyable in Monarchs.

I recognize the flaws this mmo is but your spreading straight up misinformation here they did redo those areas.

Take 5 to 10 mins to get to the other side from either. Not a huge deal for people who have played already. Plus you will level out of the zones fairly fast so irrelevant really and nothing I would concern myself with.

On another note I didn't know they cut off first light as a starter zone. Makes sense better chance to spawn with your friends.

So have you done winds? Does it have that red hair annoying girl as well that follows you around? That is the part I'm unsure about if there is a shared arc or not.

whoever made that video is clearly venting for no reason lol. both zones are fine. Monarchs recently got a rework so if youre more interested in a medieval themed zone go to monarchs, but personally i still prefer WW

I did WW on the ptr.. the main quest line is similar with mostly the same main characters. (yes, redhead girl is there)
