Should they have implemented several races from the get go? At what point should they have relocated ressources? What ressources were wasted and should have been spend into several races? What about the story writers would they have needed new story writers and if not how should they have implemented it in the current story?

New World was trying their best to be a game about human exploration age. It's not that kind of fantasy.

It's probably closer to Pirates of The Caribbeans timeline.

It reminds me of bounty bay minus the ships if you ever played that, would be weird to have Romans, Cortés and the clear Asian inspirations(Instead of being like WoW and having kungfu panda)

To be fair the setting of the game doesn't flow with any high fantasy themed races or beasts
