This is not a troll, WT is new best mmo endgame imo

I actually think New World accidentally stumbled upon the new best mmo endgame feature... Outdoor elite zones w/ treasure. Its called lots of things but on my server its known as the WT (World Tour). Its like 50% of my playtime and its very fun and satisfying mostly because of the danger in the zones, the areas are well done and its usually experienced on a massive scale (50+ people). Huge slogs against elites of all kinds is very satisfying. I would love to see more of this in MMO's. My personal favorite is Myrkgard. Its a super cool zone. I think i have run myrkgard 500x times and i still have fun.

I sincerely hope the new area of brimstone has at least 1-2 outdoor elite areas to add to this.

Yeah except when you do the train of people its not really dangerous, people take down the bosses in seconds. I did a 4 man run through sirens once and it was actually hard - at one point towards the spire we got wiped when we didnt clear a group of mobs and they hit our healer and ranged in the rear when we were careless.

Based on the maps available there will be at least 1 elite zone where the scarabs are farmed so it will be a key point to be included in any elite chest runs.

Yea which is why id like to see them have a slider for the elites/bosses depending on the amount of people in the zone to keep it challenging somewhat, but i agree!

Sounds like Guild Wars 2's endgame loop, zerging world bosses endlessly... or zerging WvW objectives if your into "pvp"

WT's are the one thing I dread the most every morning when I wake up. God awful design forcing ppl to spend an hour and a half-2 hours holding W just to go get resources and expertise. It needs to go

There is literally zero challenge or excitement in WT. 50+ ppl steam rolling content, you cant see what is going on because of all the effects on screen, you never feel like you are going to die, it is 2 hours of being bored and wishing it was over already
