Can't sell because my storage shed is full?

Was trying to sell stuff to clear out my storage shed - but the game refused to list anything in the market, says "Settlement storage full".
What is going on?

My storage is full because items not sold in the market were returned to my shed.
(Bear in mind that the devs closed the market, so therefore my listings didn't sell - which also cost me in-game $ by the way, not that the devs refunded that money or extended the length of listings.)

Complained about this situation to friends who play New World.
One found the following announcement from the NW dev team:
"Notable Bug Fixes ... Players can no longer post sell orders when their storage is full."

My storage being full is not a bug.
If and when my storage goes over the max, I sell things to make more room.
But now they won't let me sell on the market to make room -- and their reason is -- because I have no room!
There's a circular logic (or un-logic) about this new rule.

Blame the people using the AH as infinite storage.

That or one of the transfer dupes, ect.

Yeah I'm getting super annoyed by this as well. I have a full inventory so I want to put it in storage. I notice my storage is full. Get enough out of it to sell... I'm overweight and can't walk to the trader. I drop enough stuff and ferry it over in batches (if I am still able to walk). After that I can't sell it at the trader because, I, myself am overweight. Now I can either sell two stacks of gold ore .. with a fee that makes selling it in two stacks unprofitable. I can drop everything else in my inventory and hope I can pick it back up in 3 minutes. Honestly they should just remove the storage shed weight limit altogether. It's just a pain in the ass.

I don't understand why you didn't sell all that stuff on the wonderful lucrative market place that is always up and working.

Yeah I ran into that one as well, expired items had returned to the shed, overloading it, normally I would just repost them on the market place, but no, not this time, fortunately I had room in my backpack to move some stacks there, to reduce the overload to "normal" so i could repost them on the market. I thought it was a bug at first until someone said "its been abused so they nurfed it". Its planed stupidity basically. I have noticed a lot of very lazy "work arounds" with developers in this game. I have also noted that to purchase a house in some not so popular area's is also quite hard if you want lvl 30 territory standing and a tier 4 house, very hard to hit lvl 30 when the local governers are pretty much broke and the board has only "town upkeep" on it. - which means that 2nd or 3rd house and larger storage is a pain to grind, but in grinding you accumilate more stuff.. all of it which will fetch.. 0.01 coin on the market.. its looking a lot like this company is run by psychopaths with an army of monofocused Aspies under their heals. Some great work in some areas, but pure insanity in others.

Take it out of the shed into your inventory, place it on the AH from your inventory.
