I was told why I was banned. UPDATED
I was banned for node botting per Gabe @ Amazon Game Studio support.

I work from home and I work the night shift, so yeah, I farm (not bot) with PvP turned off during the night... It's the least risky thing to do when work needs me to do something and I have to go AFK.

Anyway, if you have been banned and don't know the reason, this is how I reached them:

You call 1-888-280-4331 (which is Amazon support), ask the customer support about Amazon Games, they will transfer you to the Amazon Games Studio support. A robot will answer and verify your amazon account. Once that is verified, he will try and ask you what the issue is. I just kept saying Amazon Games until he connected me to a live person with Amazon Games Studio support.

He said he can't unban me, but he gave me the reason at least. He suggested I resubmit the appeal with the specific reasoning.

Hope this helps.

UPDATE:

No longer banned... I didn't receive an email saying the ban was lifted.

However, the initial email i received before getting a hold of them, was that the ban was permanent and they weren't changing their minds.

Yet, here I am in the game.

I know there are some trolls telling people they deserve their ban or whatever... But some people are disheartened after spending a bunch of time on the game and then unknowingly getting banned.

Anyway. They were wrong.

What has you working a night shift from home? Are you a Dheli scam caller?

I will keep my secrets, thank you.

Sitting on a node and farming it each 8-10 mins is against game rules? Nice! So seems like this is my ban also

I didn't sit at a node, I ran the iron ore route in WW.

Its crazy, because I report a lot of bots... AND I WAS MISTAKEN AS THE ENEMY.

Woe is me! WOE I TELL YOU.

It is total BS if you are auto banned on someones report alone.

In wow, a GM would message you to see if they got a response to make sure a suspected person wasn't botting.

Aaaaah, so running the +- same route to farm some resources is a crime... done that, but want to see the rule in Amazon Game Rules that i can't do that. AND WHAT THEY EXPECT ME TO DO WHEN MARKET IS BLOCKED - NOWHERE TO GET FOOD, POTIONS, OFC I WILL FARM RESOURCES

Yeah, that ♥♥♥♥ needs to be vetted.

I have 2 characters. One on Valhalla lvl 57 and one on Pleroma lvl 57...

On Valhalla I am 20 bow/rapier, governor of my company and ~138 armoring/engineering. Easy to see I am not a bot, just a farming thot.

It's possible to make a macro to farm a node . but I mean how do they tell if you are doing that unless cheat detector shows up Ezmacro or something .

People just need to stop reporting because they are salty someone got to a node before them.

By all means report the obvious bots, but come on... People don't know there are real mofos out here grinding.

I don't use scripts/macros/addpons btw, I am a purist when it comes to video games.

AGS have everyone's money, so they less people playing the less it costs them to run the game. It seems like they don't actually want people to play their game. In their ideal world, everyone quits now and they would be happy.

The honest truth is that they don't care and they haven't the administrative set-up to deal with their own mess. Personally, I would be glad I got banned and get into another game that was both fun and well-run.

Depends on the reason for the ban. I am not sure what do after that. If I lose my account, all it did was end the game earlier for me than expected. But it was always expected to get old.

@Dope

I really hope you know how important it is to keep us updated about this. I know you can surely imagine to do better things with your time, but you have to keep in mind that you could help hundred, if not thousand other Players who got banned wrongly. Not to mention that you would make a lot of defenders of these bans look like some horse a.. xD
KOOLLAYDTAC Nov 17, 2021 @ 1:52am
Ya I would be curious to know how it all turned out. I wouldn't want to invest time in to a game or support developers who run such a pathetically organized poop show. I hope it works out for those of you getting wrongfully banned. Good luck and stay safe mates.:steamhappy:
