Character not loading at Character Select - A solution

In case anyone is having an issue when you start the game and go to the character select screen but no servers or characters show and stays stuck at loading. I went to Amazon technical for New World and they helped me resolve the issue.

Me [6:27:47 PM] : Hello! I am having issues at the character select screen. I log in, continue, then it stays stuck loading the server that lists my characters.
Me [6:28:13 PM] : I have tried reinstalling, rebooting PC, restarting game a few times, and left it running over an hour
Me [6:28:32 PM] : my graphics and windows updates are all up to date
Me [6:29:03 PM] : I have also tried in Big Picture mode and regular way through steam

Me [6:34:39 PM] : A folder pops up with Appdata > Roaming

Me [6:34:50 PM] : ok

Me [6:35:18 PM] : ok
Girswin [6:35:36 PM] : Move the folder save data to any other place and rename it then restart the game and check again please

Me [6:37:17 PM] : ok starting game now

Me [6:39:58 PM] : That worked!
Me [6:40:09 PM] : Thank you, I can see my characters now right away
