Game is not working in Egypt without a vpn

I don't know the reason but the game needs to fix it because there are tens of thousands of games that are not required a VPN to work in my country, I am sure the solution of that issue could be from the game

My advice would be to refund the game, based on the fact you can´t play it from your region. If you contact steam support (not the automated service) they might give you a refund based on that information.

Using a VPN can be problematic legally (even on steam) so you have a good case.

I heard it worked for some time right after release and then issues came again.

yes I played the game for 200h with a VPN but now after the latest updates, it tells me I am running a suspicious program, I really love the game this is why I been waiting that time for them to fix it

by the way you can open the game normally but when you select the server and click on play it will tell you there is a problem to establish a connection with the server, that happen with you play with no vpn

Yeah, it worked using a VPN which is allegedly a bannable program. The "issue" is that the devs started catching VPNs.

It is not in this case. Unless it is used to circumveen obstables or to abuse legal structures such as regional pricing.

On the New World forum, their own developers hinted VPN as a solution to the users telling about the issue.... But now they don´t want them here anymore and the new changes to the auto detect system, is pretty harsh, you will be banned for anything that runs suspciously, even if it does not alter coding in the game files.

People use VPN's to get around bans and run multiple accounts to hide their IP while botting. So yeah they do something to curb cheaters which makes them a garbage company. If they do nothing they are garbage company just the same. It's a no win with people who have no comprehension of the trials involved in trying to take out the trash. There is a reason regions are locked and often because the latency negativity impacts other players in multiplayer games. If you circumvent those locks you take the risks that come with it.

i mean western corruption spreading to a vastly conservative location in the world. Kinda makes sense.
