Why can't I change my faction?

I want to change faction but the system does not let me because it says that the faction I want to move to has more territories, Honestly, I have such an archaic balance system that it restricts the freedom to change faction when you already have a 60 day penalty , it seems archaic to me

So you don't have one huh? ... That's ok, because policing multi-faction guilds isn't an easy task without people reporting the crooks pulling these scams.

Allowing people to be "mercs" as opposed to joining any given faction would be a decent start.

But the only reasonable way to police scum like that is by having player reports since AGS doesn't want to hire GMs for thier servers.

Like most players, I go to the town that has the cheapest rates for what I want to do, ownership constantly changes so you move.to where is suits you best, what faction your in means nothing, toss a coin as to which you join in the first place. Seems only to matter to a minority of players who only play PVP. I know there are some things still hanging around from before AG realisd they were making a game that would appeal only to a minority and changed tack for a more mass appeal, but those things really don't hinder. Pretty much negated by your region standing anyway.

Just go to where it makes sense to do what your wanting to do.

PvE supports PvP in this game, so no, wait the 60 days (used to be 90) in order to get cheap fast travel and hope the map doesn't switch after you do.

Or, help your current color take the map, PvE or not.

So how would you help your current colour take the map, if the opposite colour is forcing wars on them selves to block others from war so they can keep permanent control ???

Yeah this faction system was designed by someone without a clue of how games work.

What the devs ought to do is make an "underdog" adjustment that has enough teeth that servers tend to self balance, with the majority of the wars being over EF and WW.
