They wont fix it. They will "say" they fixed it and give some half brained excuse as to why it happened and how they fixed it, but in the end, everyone who got gold and bought out markets on all the servers will not lose a single thing and get to keep all the stuff they just bought (probably the gold too), which will further lead to the collapse of this game.

The Devs announced they were going to give any taxes back since 1.1, as well as refund some war declarations. Of course, this is AGS, and if something they did went off without a hitch it would be a Christmas Day Miracle, and it is still November so....

Apparently it's intentional that random players get large injections of gold since a community mod congratulated a player on it. Economy was fubar day 1 anyway.
